Session 1 - October 18, 2023: Neurodiversity-Affirming Strategies to Support Learners - Our first of three national webinars focuses on supporting neurodivergent learners by outlining the fundamentals of neurodiversity along with eight strategies educators can use to enhance education and inclusion for neurodivergent learners in schools.
Session 2 - November 15, 2023: Using Language to Empower and Ally with Neurodivergent Students - This webinar will focus on the power of language, especially the power of language used by educators directed to or about their students. Ableist language roots will be discussed, along with neuro-affirming anti-ableist language choices, and strategies to ally with neurodivergent students in a school setting.
Session 3 - December 13, 2023: Strategies to Amplify Student Voice and Agency - The final in this series of webinars will outline what student agency is, the benefits of students using their agency, as well as six strategies to amplify student voice in the school setting.
