Welcome to the SY 23-24 RethinkEd
ASD PLC Series Advanced Pathway Options Guide

Welcome to the 23-24 school year! The Division of Specialized Instruction and Student Support (DSISS) is partnering with RethinkEd to offer advanced pathway options for educators who participated in six or more Year 1 ASD PLC sessions from the 2022-2023 SY cohort and are interested in continuing on to explore advanced content and to build capacity for supporting schools.

Team members continuing on in the series will have a choice of two advanced pathway options detailed below, both with an emphasis on diving deeper into topics covered during the year-one pathway and on building capacity to support educators in your school building. The series focus will continue to be on developing specialists who will be able to successfully support schools in providing access to instruction for students with a classification of Autism Spectrum Disorders who could benefit from intensive behavior support.

Throughout the advanced pathway training series participants will be part of an educational community that will receive ongoing support from the RethinkEd team. They will have access to asynchronous principles of Applied Behavior Analysis and Proactive Behavior Support modules, participate in synchronous professional learning communities biweekly, and will receive on-going coaching.
